For the first time, the Ukrainian Bodypainting Award 2018, sanctioned by the WBA took place in Kiev. 4th of August, international crowed of artists came a long to the very artistic location called "Art Platform" in the Ukrainian capital.

Впервые прошел в Киеве Ukrainian Bodypaining Award 2018 санкционированный WBA. 4 августа, интернациональная группа художников собралась в украинской столице на популярной креативной площадке "Арт Платформа".

It was a beautiful day and a perfect location at an old factory terrain that turned some years ago into the hotspot of cultural and artistic events in Kiev. Artist from the Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, England, Moldova and Argentina participated in the first international WBA contest in the Ukraine. Amongst the jury members was the current World Champion Marzia Bedeschi from Italy, along with artist and make-up pro Matilda Inozemzeva and chairman of the WBA Alex Barendregt from Austria. The competition was an open category with the theme "Gift of Nature: 5 Senses" and after 6 hours the jury awarded the following participants with € 1.650 in cash sponsored by WB-Production and product prizes sponsored by Purple Brush Allure:

1^st Place: Marian Folga from Poland
2^nd Place: Oxana Cuptsova from Moldova
3^rd Place: Uliana Maksymiuk from the United Kingdom

Это был волшебный день на старом заводе, который несколько лет назад превратился в популярную культурную площадку для креативных мероприятий в Киеве.  Художники из Украины, Польши, Беларуси, Англии, Молдовы и Аргентины участвовали в первом международном WBA конкурсе в Украине. Среди членов жюри были: нынешняя чемпионка мира Marzia Bedeschi из Италии, художница и визажист Matilda Inozemzeva, а также президент Всемирной Бодиарт Ассоциации Alex Barendregt из Австрии. Соревнования проходили в открытой категории, где художники рисовали на тему "Подарок Природы - 5 чувств человека". После 6-ти часовой работы, судьи наградили победителей денежными призами с размере € 1.650, спонсором которых являлся WB-Production, а также продукцией профессиональных кистей Purple Brush Allure:

The Bodypainting Trophy at the Beauty Forum Munich highlighted last weekend, 27th October 2018. 

The artists successfully implemented their understanding of the topic "Let the impossible be possible" and impressed with their creations visitors and the jury: Eva-Maria Schulz, Wolf Reicherter and Udo Schurr. We are very thankful for their hard job, as the level of the works this time again was very high and it was not easy to make a decision.

Nevertheless, in the name of the trade show and the WBA, we would like to congratulate the winners for their wonderful works:

Marta Gejdošová – make-up artist, bodypainter, hairdresser comes from Slovakia. She has been working in beauty business for almost 20 years. She runs her own beauty salon SHARMANT, she is the main make-up artist of the musical Cats at the theatre Nová Scéna Bratislava, she cooperates with various media and TV. She is the author of two books about beauty “Beauty doesnʼt have to be a coincidence”. She also works as a beauty and image lecturer.

She has been practising Bodypainting since 2010 and she is the Slovak BodyArt champion. In 2017 she took the 5th place in Open Category at World Bodypainting Festival in Klagenfurt. In 2016 she has become the president of the Association Bodypainters Slovakia and since then Slovak bodypainting championships are organized by her.
For five years she has organized the biggest bodypainting event in Slovakia BODY ART SHOW. It is an exhibition show of bodypainting art with charitable purpose. She started organizing BODY ART SHOW according to her experience fromWorld Bodypainting Festival. She wanted to bring joy, enthusiasm and beauty of this piece of art to Slovakia and present it to public. She also gives attention to charity. At BODY ART SHOW she presents her bodypainting calendar which selling gains are donated to charity fund Pink Ribbon – breast cancer prevention. She also gave help to childrenʼs oncology by creating calendar with oncological child patients.
Currently she is preparing the 6th year of BODY ART SHOW that will be held on 16th November 2019 in Bratislava.
