Vilija Art - multidisciplinary artist known for her body painting and paper art- Haute Papier.

She is 2 times world body painting champion, awarded internationally and locally for her art and films.
Born in Lithuania and moved to Sweden in 2010, now having her art studios and home in Norway-Lofoten, Italian Alps and Portugal-Azores . She is working as a professional- freelance artist and have builded company called VV ARTS internationally since 2013.
Vilijas art speaks mostly about human nature, relationships, motherhood and dreams. The artist loves to work in mixed media and out of her comfort zone. She today is the only artist that creates body painting in the arctic outdoors where she blends people with the landscapes and shares the message about environmental protection. As well she creates Haute paper costumes and special effects body painting by using paper combined with skin.

Her passion for visual arts and body painting has led her to collaborate on dance-circus performances, film, photography, paper art, costume design, and installations. Over the past five years, she has developed a multidisciplinary art project called The Memory Of Water in collaboration with Malgorzata Sus. This initiative has brought together over 40 international artists of artists through artistic residencies in Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Italy, Austria, and Portugal, resulting in films, exhibitions, and performances that are now on a world tour, while also partnering with marine life protection organizations worldwide.
She also organizes body painting retreats in the Arctic-Lofoten, Azores, and Iceland, which have been recognized as one of Europe’s top 10 most adventurous retreats.
