Bodypainting for me is something quite different than painting on paper or on a canvas. A body lives, a picture painted on it can change its validity with every movement. It lives, it speaks, it tells a story. It is about unfolding all emotions in the inner space, blossoming and being changed. Art, Charity, and the Launch of the Bodypainting Calendar. On Thursday, February 20th, the unforgettable Body Art Show took place at the Park Inn by Radisson Danube Bratislava. This extraordinary event combined the beauty of body painting with a charitable purpose. A highlight of the evening was the official launch of an exceptional bodypainting calendar created by renowned artist Marta Gejdošová. A multiple-time Slovak Bodypainting Champion and member of the WBA. + The evening was hosted by the popular actor Dušan Cinkota, who guided the audience through the entire program. A team of talented artists worked tirelessly from the early morning hours to bring the models to life with their incredible body art. The team included Ján Xavier Melišek, Mária Behilová, Veronika Olahová, Valéria Černušková, and skilled students from the SOŠ Beauty Services School: Lea Garajová, Adelina Poltorapavlová, Lívia Mišovcová, and Ema Kovačovská. The most emotional moment of the night was undoubtedly the official launch of the calendar. Marta Gejdošová and Dr. Alena Kalayová shared personal experiences with cancer, deeply moving everyone in attendance. The honor of being the calendar’s godfather went to Juraj Lelkeš, who introduced the calendar to the world and emphasized the importance of prevention and solidarity. Once again, Body Art Show 2025 proved that art can be not only visually mesmerizing but also a powerful tool for spreading meaningful messages. The evening, filled with color, emotion, and talent, left a lasting impression on all attendees and reinforced the idea that beauty and charity can go hand in hand. The seventh edition of the event once again proved to be a unique blend of art and charity, with proceeds donated to the Ružová Stužka organization, which focuses on breast cancer prevention. This noble cause attracted numerous well-known figures from Slovak show business and the cultural scene, who came together to support the initiative. Attendees had the chance to witness stunning works of art brought to life on the bodies of the models. Beyond visual artistry, the show also featured captivating music and dance performances. The energy of the evening was amplified by dancers from the Dazya Dance Group, led by Daška Nemcová, as well as musicians from the Stano Lauro Band.
