Two World Championships, One Historic Stage
The World Bodypainting Festival Italy 2026 once again transformed the historic town of Sterzing/Vipiteno into a spectacular open-air gallery of body art. For the second consecutive year, artists from around the world gathered in the South Tyrolean mountain town to compete in the World Award: Camouflage Bodypainting, presented by KRYOLAN.
A major milestone for this year's edition was the introduction of the World Championship in Facepainting, presented by SUPERSTAR. The new category brought even more creativity, artistic expression and international talent to the festival, making WBF Italy an even stronger stop within the World Bodypainting Festival series.
Alongside the competitions, visitors enjoyed the Creative Bodypainting Jam Session, live entertainment and a sold-out Photo Day, making the event a true celebration of art, community and international exchange.
