The WBF Online Awards 2025 once again demonstrated the power of digital connectivity within the global bodypainting community. From November 14–16, artists from more than 30 nations participated in this year’s online edition, presenting nearly 200 artworks across three categories: Facepainting, Brush & Sponge Bodypainting, and Airbrush Bodypainting.
Hvar Bodypainting Award 2025 Results The Hvar Bodypainting Festival 2025, held on May 31st and June 1st, transformed the Croatian island into a vibrant canvas of creativity and color. Set against the stunning backdrop of Hvar's natural beauty, the festival attracted 17 international artists from countries including France, South Korea, the USA, Norway, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Serbia, Israel, and Mexico. On October 19, 2025, Helsinki became the stage for an extraordinary showcase of artistry and imagination as the World Championship of the World Bodypainting Festival took center stage in the Creative Make-up category.
Held within the vibrant atmosphere of I Love Me, Northern Europe’s largest beauty, fashion, wellness, and health fair, the event took place at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus) from October 18–19. Alongside the thrilling world championship, the Nordic Awards honored exceptional talent in various Bodypainting and Facepainting categories.
The Carnaval de Águilas is one of Spain’s most exciting and colorful celebrations, and this year, it once again set the stage for an incredible Bodypainting Contest! As the first major event of the 2025 bodypainting season, talented artists gathered to transform human canvases into stunning works of art.
Bodypainintg Contest at the Make-up Exhibition in Paris On 7 June 2025, Paris was transformed into a stage for living art: the French Bodypainting Award took place as part of The Beauty Experience and attracted artists and visitors from all over Europe. What followed was a day full of creativity, colour and impressive body art. Amidst the inspiring atmosphere of The Beauty Experience , international artists were given an impressive platform to realise their visions of the theme "Revolution of beauty" live on the bodies of their models. Visitors were able to experience the creative process up close and were amazed at how people were transformed into walking works of art step by step. The jury for the event included respected professionals Dany Sanz, Houyam Hajlaoui and Cindy Pasqualin. They judged the works in the Brush & Sponge Category, focusing on creativity, technical execution, and the connection between body and story.
