WBF Finland – Where Nordic Myth Meets Modern Art.
The World Bodypainting Association is proud to announce its next exciting stop on the global bodypainting map: WBF Finland, taking place in the vibrant city of Helsinki. This international highlight brings together artists, models, and creatives from all over the world for an immersive weekend of art, performance, and inspiration. Over two days of competitions, participants can take part in the Nordic Awards for Fashion Editorial Make-up and Bodypainting on October 18th. The next day, October 19th, the competition continues with the World Award: Creative Make-up, where World Champion title is given, and the Nordic Award: Facepainting - bringing bold ideas and detailed designs to the spotlight.

WBF Finland is not just a competition – it’s a full celebration of body art culture. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Helsinki’s Vanhakaupunki (Old Town), this unique location blends history, urban energy, and Nordic charm. With its modern art scene and open-minded community, Helsinki provides the perfect canvas for this colourful gathering.

World Championships in Creative Make-Up and Nordic Awards in three categories!
On October 19, 2025, Helsinki will host a spectacular showdown of artistry and imagination as the World Bodypainting Festival's Creative Make-Up World Championship takes centre stage. Along the thrilling world champion category, we provide also the Nordic Awards in various bodypainting and facepainting categories from October 18–19 within the beauty fair I Love Me, Northern Europe’s largest beauty, fashion, wellness & health expo, held at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
Participants can expect official WBA competition categories, including Brush/Sponge, Airbrush, Special Effects, and Creative Make-up. Artists will showcase their skills.
All competitions are judged by an international jury panel of renowned artists and industry professionals, ensuring a high standard and a truly global perspective.
