Helsinki will host a spectacular showdown of artistry and imagination as the World Bodypainting Festival's Creative Make- Up World Championship takes centre stage. Along the thrilling world champion category, we provide also the Nordic Awards in various bodypainting and facepainting categories within the beauty fair ILoveMe, Northern Europe’s largest beauty, fashion, wellness & health expo
World Championship on 31st January 2027, Águilas, Spain
The World Award: Bodypainting & Show will take place on 31st January 2027 during the famous Carnaval de Águilas in Spain.
Registration is open online until 15th December 2026.
The 2027 theme is “Rhythm of Life – When Colors, Movement & Emotion Unite.” Artists are invited to explore the different moments and emotions of life through bodypainting, costume, movement, special effects, and stage performance.
Further event and competition information will be added to the website on an ongoing basis.

WBF Italy 2027 – Save the Date
The dates for the next World Bodypainting Festival in Sterzing/Vipiteno are confirmed: 2–3 July 2027.
