The last WBA sanctioned contest took place 25^th of May in Kiev, Ukraine within the beauty art festival Viridiland www.viridiland.com. Thousands of leading masters, speakers and judges from all over the world were part of the beauty art space.

Еще один санкционированный конкурс WBA состоялся 25 мая в Киеве, Украина, в рамках фестиваля красоты Viridiland www.viridiland.com. Тысячи ведущих мастеров, спикеров и судей со всего мира были частью пространства красоты.

The competition was an Open Category with the theme “Artificial Intelligence - Fears vs. Opportunities”. Artists from 7 nations gathered on one stage and presented their talents in front of a grateful audience, photographers and media channels. The winners were awarded with beautiful wooden certificates, trophies, money prizes and suite cases with products from KODI Professional.

2^nd Place - Lucia Postacchini | Italy
3^rd Place - Marian Folga | Poland
as well as all participating artists, assistants and models with super performance. All participants did a wonderful job and amazing preparation for the championship.

The final day of the festival hosted celebrity moderator Aleksander Pedan. With an incredible final show, the famous Ukrainian superstar MARUV closed the event with a powerful performance.

We are grateful to everyone who was part of the event and we are already looking forward to seeing many more talents next year!

Конкурс проходил в открытой категории на тему «Искусственный интеллект - страхи против возможностей». Художники из 7 стран собрались на одной сцене и представили свои таланты перед благодарной публикой, фотографами и медиа каналами. Победители были награждены красивыми деревянными сертификатами, трофеями, денежными призам и чемоданами с продукцией от KODI Professional.

Мы поздравляем победителей, а также всех участвующих художников, ассистентов и моделей с превосходным выступлением. Все участники проделали замечательную работу и потрясающую подготовку к чемпионату.

В последний день знаменитый ведущий Александр Педан провел закрытие фестиваля. И невероятным финальным хайлайтом стала знаменитая украинская суперзвезда MARUV, которая завершила мероприятие мощным выступлением.

Мы благодарны всем, кто принимал участие в этом мероприятии, и мы уже с нетерпением ждем новых талантов в следующем году!

The Beauty Forum Bodypainting Trophy in Leipzig highlighted last weekend, 18^th of April 2019.
The artists successfully implemented their understanding of the topic "Hereos". Their creations impressed visitors and the jury.

As part of the Beauty Hair & Expo Fair from 9th - 10th March 2019  the WBA Croatian Bodypainting Competition will be held in Zagreb Croatia.

The Competition will be held in 2 categories and according to WBA rules. 

Saturday, 9th March: Bodypainting 

Sunday, 10th March: Facepainting

The Theme will be on both days: "FANTASY"

The winner gets product prizes as well as qualifies  for the World Bodypainting Festival (World Championships).

Registration is possible until 3rd March 2019

The project is dedicated to the International Children’s Day, which is annually celebrated on June 1st.
Children’s Day is not only a happy holiday for children on the first day of summer, but this day is also a reminder to society.
Despite the long list of modern local problems, peaceful future is the main one.

The project was implemented in “White star studio” with the participation of a dance group “Raznyye Litsa”, pupils of children’s studio fashion “MademoiselleAdr`i” and the creative team. It was a performance that combines body art, choreography and drawings created by children.

The project touches on the problems in which helpless and innocent children are somehow involved .These problems are conflicts, wars, world “without soul”. The image of asphalt became a symbol of numbness and bafflement within this project. But problems can be solved, our children can leave vivid emotions, create a new world, give joy and hope on this grey plane of past.

A fantastic new program takes place at the WB-Academy just a day before the main days of the World Bodypainting Festival in 2018. A high quality program with outstanding speakers are on the panel. The conference is hosted by Michael DeVellis from The Powder Group.

In this artistry and career-focused one-day event, The Powder Group, The Makeup Show and On Makeup Magazine founder, Michael DeVellis will guide through a day full of unique demonstrations and discussions with a broad range of world renowned artists. Michael will host, for her first time presenting at WBA, MAKE UP FOR EVER creator, Dany Sanz with a very special demonstration and talk! Award-winning editorial and bodypainting artist Einat Dan, Broadway makeup designer, Joe Dulude II – designer of Wicked, and Purple Brush Academy founder Matilda Inozemceva will also present special demonstrations. Presenters will also include a panel regarding working successfully in art and bodypainting with industry experts Craig Tracy, Jinny Houle, Filipo Ioco and Bella Volen and a very special chat between Michael, Emma Rutherford from London’s Warpaint magazine and WBF founder Alex Barendregt about working in the global makeup industry today will round out the program.
