The French Bodypainting Awards 2019 organized by WB Production took place on 6 & 7 April in Paris as part of the 49th Congrès International Esthétiques Spa.

Wow, it's been a very strong competition this year in Paris on both of the days. A big thank you to all the great participants, models and of course the jury members Dany Sanz, François Rose as well as Sandrine Vigneron supporter and sponsor from Make Up For Ever.

As part of the Beauty Hair & Expo Fair from 9th - 10th March 2019  the WBA Croatian Bodypainting Competition will be held in Zagreb Croatia.

The Competition will be held in 2 categories and according to WBA rules. 

Saturday, 9th March: Bodypainting 

Sunday, 10th March: Facepainting

The Theme will be on both days: "FANTASY"

The winner gets product prizes as well as qualifies  for the World Bodypainting Festival (World Championships).

Registration is possible until 3rd March 2019

The project is dedicated to the International Children’s Day, which is annually celebrated on June 1st.
Children’s Day is not only a happy holiday for children on the first day of summer, but this day is also a reminder to society.
Despite the long list of modern local problems, peaceful future is the main one.

The project was implemented in “White star studio” with the participation of a dance group “Raznyye Litsa”, pupils of children’s studio fashion “MademoiselleAdr`i” and the creative team. It was a performance that combines body art, choreography and drawings created by children.

The project touches on the problems in which helpless and innocent children are somehow involved .These problems are conflicts, wars, world “without soul”. The image of asphalt became a symbol of numbness and bafflement within this project. But problems can be solved, our children can leave vivid emotions, create a new world, give joy and hope on this grey plane of past.

A fantastic new program takes place at the WB-Academy just a day before the main days of the World Bodypainting Festival in 2018. A high quality program with outstanding speakers are on the panel. The conference is hosted by Michael DeVellis from The Powder Group.

In this artistry and career-focused one-day event, The Powder Group, The Makeup Show and On Makeup Magazine founder, Michael DeVellis will guide through a day full of unique demonstrations and discussions with a broad range of world renowned artists. Michael will host, for her first time presenting at WBA, MAKE UP FOR EVER creator, Dany Sanz with a very special demonstration and talk! Award-winning editorial and bodypainting artist Einat Dan, Broadway makeup designer, Joe Dulude II – designer of Wicked, and Purple Brush Academy founder Matilda Inozemceva will also present special demonstrations. Presenters will also include a panel regarding working successfully in art and bodypainting with industry experts Craig Tracy, Jinny Houle, Filipo Ioco and Bella Volen and a very special chat between Michael, Emma Rutherford from London’s Warpaint magazine and WBF founder Alex Barendregt about working in the global makeup industry today will round out the program.

The Beauty Forum Bodypainting Trophy in Leipzig highlighted last weekend, 18^th of April 2019.
The artists successfully implemented their understanding of the topic "Hereos". Their creations impressed visitors and the jury.

For the first time, the Ukrainian Bodypainting Award 2018, sanctioned by the WBA took place in Kiev. 4th of August, international crowed of artists came a long to the very artistic location called "Art Platform" in the Ukrainian capital.

Впервые прошел в Киеве Ukrainian Bodypaining Award 2018 санкционированный WBA. 4 августа, интернациональная группа художников собралась в украинской столице на популярной креативной площадке "Арт Платформа".

It was a beautiful day and a perfect location at an old factory terrain that turned some years ago into the hotspot of cultural and artistic events in Kiev. Artist from the Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, England, Moldova and Argentina participated in the first international WBA contest in the Ukraine. Amongst the jury members was the current World Champion Marzia Bedeschi from Italy, along with artist and make-up pro Matilda Inozemzeva and chairman of the WBA Alex Barendregt from Austria. The competition was an open category with the theme "Gift of Nature: 5 Senses" and after 6 hours the jury awarded the following participants with € 1.650 in cash sponsored by WB-Production and product prizes sponsored by Purple Brush Allure:

1^st Place: Marian Folga from Poland
2^nd Place: Oxana Cuptsova from Moldova
3^rd Place: Uliana Maksymiuk from the United Kingdom

Это был волшебный день на старом заводе, который несколько лет назад превратился в популярную культурную площадку для креативных мероприятий в Киеве.  Художники из Украины, Польши, Беларуси, Англии, Молдовы и Аргентины участвовали в первом международном WBA конкурсе в Украине. Среди членов жюри были: нынешняя чемпионка мира Marzia Bedeschi из Италии, художница и визажист Matilda Inozemzeva, а также президент Всемирной Бодиарт Ассоциации Alex Barendregt из Австрии. Соревнования проходили в открытой категории, где художники рисовали на тему "Подарок Природы - 5 чувств человека". После 6-ти часовой работы, судьи наградили победителей денежными призами с размере € 1.650, спонсором которых являлся WB-Production, а также продукцией профессиональных кистей Purple Brush Allure:
